Who We Are

SRL Solutions works to strengthen leadership across Canada’s not-for-profit sector.

We focus on a challenge many organizations experience but few systems address: supporting Executive Directors so they can lead effectively, sustain their work, and guide their organizations through change over time.

Our work builds the practical leadership infrastructure not-for-profit leaders need: the shared tools, operating systems, and peer networks that help organizations function well and sustain their impact.

Ultimately, our goal is simple: to make Executive Director leadership possible, sustainable, and repeatable across the not-for-profit sector.

Hélène Scott she/her
Creative Director, Product & UX Designer

Hélène has been a creative professional for over 25 years, starting as a visual artist and graphic designer, then adding web design, and later moving into creative and brand director roles within start-ups and small businesses.

Within ED Academy, Hélène is the world builder behind the program’s online experience. While the curriculum defines what is taught, Hélène has created the space in which that learning happens—designing the structure, flow, and feel of the online classroom and Community Hub.

She brings a rare ability to hold both the big picture and the smallest details at once, shaping how participants move through the program while ensuring every element is intuitive, accessible, and thoughtfully designed. Her expertise in end-user experience grounds the program in how people actually learn, connect, and engage in virtual environments.

As a practising artist, Hélène is often inspired by the sky and can frequently be found painting clouds when she’s not designing thoughtful experiences.

Since 2024, Sarah Jane has played a key role in coordinating and supporting the delivery of the PEI cohort, giving her a strong understanding of the realities, challenges, and needs of Executive Directors.

An adventurer at heart, Sarah Jane loves to travel and can often be found working remotely from her 26-year-old converted Astro van! You never quite know where she’ll be tuning in from, but she has mad problem-solving skills and will certainly be able to help you out.
